Any jungle in, guy?

--Junglist (Justin Kerrigan), Human Traffic (1999)

It’s been a long time since I’ve shared with y’all the latest Tarzan and Jane that swung in on the vine this morning (as well as other tunes outside of jungle/drum n bass), so here you all go! These could turn Hare Krishna into a badbwoy. Or househead/technofan/hakken expert/acid junkie/Discogs basement dweller/etc. Enjoy! :3

No, this is not an artist endorsement nor encouragement to steal music, I just like the stuff I listen to below. The real sad (and embarrassing) part is that I know many of these tracks, their artists, and their unique sound by heart. I'm that obsessed.

House

• Mr Fingers – Can You Feel It (the ORIGINAL house, thus featuring a "generic" sans-typeface vinyl label, deserves more attention imo)
• Pete Heller’s Big Love – Big Love
• Stardust – Music Sounds Better With You

Synth n Hyperpop

• Ninajirachi – Fuck My Computer (Yep. I'm officially a nerd. Oh hey she just released a collab w/ porter robinson. BTW screw you, YouTube auto-age-restrict algorithm)
• Charli XCX (feat. shygirl) – 365
• The Chemical Brothers – Where Do I Begin
• Aira Mitsuki (feat. Terukado) – BAD Trip

Disco/Krautrock/Electro

• Roboterwerke – High On Tech
• Model 500 – No UFO’s (the ORIGINAL techno)
• Cybotron – Techno City

Techno

• D.A.V.E. The Drummer – Hydraulix 09A
• Robots In Disguise – ZMK 001B (freetekno is best techno)
• Rhythm Is Rhythm – Strings Of Life

Trance

• Artemis (1) – Inverted Humanism
• Sasha – Xpander (trance: the good ending...)
• Juno Reactor – Mona Lisa Overdrive

Drum n Bass/Jungle

WARNING: wannabe junglist robo incoming

• Aphrodite – Stalker (The tarzan and jane aforementioned! Spoiler alert: it's technically not jungle, just 90's-era wobble-bass jump-up dnb)
• Proket – Guta
• Ed Rush – Defect
• DJ Hazard + D-Minds – Super Drunk (OH NO IT’S AN ANNOYING JUMP-UP TRACK!!!)
• Spor – 1 Up
• Cutty Ranks – Limb By Limb (DJ SS Remix) (apparently this is actually an official release, Subbase got permission from Fashion to have the original on the same record as this trak. Whatcha say? TL;DR?)
• Twisted – Elements
• Artemis (2) – Elysian Fields (OMG IT’S atmospheric jungle.)
• Dom & Roland – Imagination (would it be disrespectful to call this track cyberpunk-vibeish? it gives me that feeling)
• Exocet – Target One
• Baraka (Jonny L) & Master Laquar – A Million And One (if you like breakcore then you will like authentic jungle musik :3)
• B-Complex – Beautiful Lies

UKG/Dubstep/Bass Music

• RSD – Jah Way (dubstep: the good ending...)
• Loefah – Mud
• DJ Bigga G – Mind, Body And Soul (4x4 Mix)
• Amar – Sometimes It Snows In April (Dreem House Snowman Mix)
• Sammy Virji – Find My Way Home (for some reason I really like this tune. idk why)
• T2 - Heartbroken

Breaks/Big Beat

• The Prodigy – Mindfields (HOLY SHIT LIAM HOWLETT CHOPPED THE AMEN BREAK!!!11!)
• Junkie XL - War

• Nino - The Gun (I See It Around Me)
• Blame - Music Takes You (Somehow Moving Shadow Avoided A Lawsuit Version)

Downtempo/Ambient

Sorry guys I don’t listen to enough experimental/idm-ish stuff outside of breakcore so idk what to do here :(

• Flying Lotus – Do The Astral Plane
• Wisp – Ephemeris
• Global Communication – Sublime Creation

IDM n Breakcore

WICKED WICKED BREAKCORE MASSIVE!

• Aphex Twin – Come To Daddy (that’s right...I’m a /mu/ and Reddit lurker)
• Aaron Spectre – You Don’t Know
• Stazma The Junglechrist – Robots
• Sytze – The Mighty Destroyer Of Earth (here on NG!!!)
• Bong Ra vs Igorrr - Pallbearer
• Alec Empire – Suicide (the ORIGINAL breakcore. btw some titles for breakcore have aged even worse)

Other/Microgenres

(vaporwave, synthwave, chiptune, VGM, etc.)

• Chuck Person (Oneohtrix Point Never) – Angel (the ORIGINAL vaporwave)
• Ezekey – Who Knew
• Artifyber – 333 (here on NG!!!)

I should really start that Blogspot, should I... (subtle foreshadowing)

EDIT: goddammit I put DJ Fresh - Big Love instead of the actual track. Fixed. Everything else should be correct
